Our solar panels produce 260 MWh of electricity annually, powering our manufacturing processes and significantly reducing our reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

Over half of the materials we use in production come from recycled sources, ensuring that our products are both high-quality and environmentally responsible. Additionally, 90% of our manufacturing waste is recycled

Energy Neutral Production

All of our manufacturing facilities are equipped with solar panels, making our rim production energy neutral. We harness the power of the sun to drive our processes, ensuring that we operate with minimal environmental impact.

Our in-house surface treatments adhere to strict ecological standards, using environmentally safe processes that avoid harmful chemicals and minimize waste.

Local Impact

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our products to the very land where we operate. When IBEX moved into our current facility in 2002, we took over an abandoned site marked by decades of environmentally harmful practices from the communist-era arms industry. Since then, we've transformed the area from its neglected state into a thriving hub of both innovation and biodiversity. Today, our facility is a world away from the decaying, inefficient buildings we inherited. The grounds are now teeming with life, from frogs, snakes, hares, and dragonflies to deer and even rare salamanders. A walk through our site is a reminder of the positive impact responsible industry can have on the environment, where nature and progress coexist harmoniously.

Recycled Aluminum

Our rims and hubs are crafted from aluminum that contains over 50% recycled content, significantly reducing the demand for raw materials and minimizing our environmental impact.

Local Sourcing

We prioritize using locally sourced materials and components to minimize our environmental impact. The aluminum used in our rims and hubs is sourced from the Czech Republic, stainless steel wire for spokes comes from Sweden, and nipples are supplied from Germany. All components are manufactured, surface-treated, and assembled in-house, ensuring that our entire production process adheres to strict ecological standards. By keeping our supply chain within Europe, we reduce transportation emissions and support sustainable practices.
